Last Updated: February 13, 2025

1. Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") describes permitted and prohibited uses of DeepXL's services, including our API and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to comply with this Policy. We may modify this Policy at any time by posting a revised version on our website. Your continued use of the Service following such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Policy.

2. General Requirements

The Service is designed for business and professional use in detecting AI-generated and manipulated content, particularly within financial services and insurance contexts. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with this Policy. All users must comply with applicable laws and regulations, maintain appropriate security measures, and use the Service as intended for AI-generated and manipulated content detection. You are responsible for respecting the rights of others and following API rate limits and technical restrictions.

3. Prohibited Activities

3.1 Illegal Activities

You may not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in support of illegal activities. This prohibition includes violating any applicable law or regulation, infringing intellectual property rights, violating privacy or data protection laws, circumventing legal restrictions, engaging in fraudulent activities, or attempting to harm other users or systems.

3.2 Security Violations

Users of the Service must not attempt to breach or circumvent security measures. This includes any interference with service operations, unauthorized scanning or testing, sharing or leaking API credentials, or attempts to reverse engineer the Service. We take security seriously and will investigate any attempts to compromise our systems or those of our users.

3.3 System Abuse

The Service must be used within reasonable operational parameters. Users may not exceed rate limits without authorization, generate excessive load or traffic, attempt to overwhelm systems, manipulate or game the Service, or automate requests without approval. We monitor system usage to ensure fair access for all users.

3.4 Content Restrictions

Users must ensure they have necessary rights to process any content submitted to the Service. We prohibit the submission of malicious or harmful content, use for mass surveillance, processing of protected categories of data without proper basis, or submission of intentionally misleading content. All content must be processed in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection requirements.

4. Authentication and Security

4.1 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API credentials and access tokens. This includes implementing proper authentication in your applications, securing your API keys, reporting any compromised credentials immediately, and following security best practices for key rotation and management.

4.2 Integration Standards

When integrating with our API, you must follow our documentation and implement appropriate error handling. Your integration should respect rate limiting headers, use appropriate request formats, and maintain compatibility with current API versions. We provide extensive documentation to help you implement these requirements correctly.

5. Data Submission Guidelines

5.1 Data Quality and Rights

When submitting content for analysis, you must ensure you have all necessary rights and permissions. This includes obtaining required consents, respecting privacy rights, maintaining proper records, and handling data responsibly. You should only submit content that is relevant to the intended analysis.

5.2 Content Standards

All submitted content must meet our technical requirements and quality standards. This includes using supported file types, following size limitations, and removing unnecessary personal data. We maintain these standards to ensure optimal service performance and accurate analysis results.

5.3 Quality Assurance Data

When submitting content for analysis:
- You acknowledge that DeepXL may retain analyzed content for up to 30 days for quality assurance and fraud detection purposes

6. Service Limitations

The Service operates within defined technical and operational boundaries. These include API rate limits, storage restrictions, processing quotas, and bandwidth limitations. Feature availability may vary based on your service tier and agreement. We maintain these limitations to ensure consistent service quality for all users.

7. Monitoring and Enforcement

We actively monitor Service usage to ensure compliance with this Policy. This includes investigating potential violations, taking appropriate enforcement action, reporting illegal activities when necessary, and cooperating with authorities as required by law. We strive to enforce this Policy fairly and consistently.

8. Policy Violations

Violations of this Policy may result in various enforcement actions. These may include temporary service suspension, permanent account termination, reporting to authorities, or legal action. We may also assess fees for violations that impact service availability or performance. The specific action taken depends on the nature and severity of the violation.

9. Reporting Violations

We encourage users to report suspected Policy violations. Reports should be sent to abuse@deepxl.ai or submitted through our web portal at deepxl.ai/report-abuse. Please provide detailed information about the violation and any supporting evidence to help us investigate effectively.

10. Updates and Changes

We may update this Policy to reflect new features or capabilities, legal requirements, security requirements, operational needs, or industry standards. We will notify users of material changes through appropriate channels and provide reasonable time for compliance with new requirements.
